  • without monitoring for environmental impacts
  • without royalties
  • without protection for domestic users, present or future
  • without provision for potential effects of climate change

  • 4,500 litres per minute  = 989.88 gallons per minute
  • 270,000 litres per hour = 59,392.87 gallons per hour
  • 6,480,000 litres per day = 1,425,428.95 gallons per day
  • 2,365,200,000 litres per year =  520,281,566.20 gallons per year
  • 4.546 litres  =  1 Canadian gallon
